Every brand says quality. We publish the numbers — the fabric, the weight, the maker, the cost — so you can check them yourself.
The fabric, in numbers
| Spec | WAYSHNER | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Activewear | 225–230gsm four-way stretch · recycled polyester / elastane | Cut and sewn to order from printed cloth, in Europe. Thin single-layer fabric goes see-through under load; weight and fibre are the fix. |
| Layers | 271–308gsm · cotton-rich fleece and recycled fleece | The Core Hoodie is 280gsm, the Track Jacket 308gsm. You can feel a hundred grams in your hand without being told. |
| Construction | Double waistbands, lined hoods, real zip pockets, flat seams on the activewear | The details you can't see decide whether it lasts two months or two years. |
| Prints | Printed on the flat panel, then cut and sewn | The pattern runs unbroken across the seams instead of stopping at a printed square on the front. |
Four things we publish. No exceptions.
| What | Where you can check it |
|---|---|
| 01 · The weight | Every gsm on this site is the maker’s figure for that exact cloth, printed on the product page. Nothing is rounded up. |
| 02 · The blank | Every page names the garment underneath — brand and style code. Search it and you will find the same spec sheet we read. |
| 03 · The composition | Fibre by fibre, for the version that ships to the UK. Where the EU and US versions differ, the EU one is the one you get. |
| 04 · The maths | What the garment costs, what postage costs, what we keep. It is on this page, below, and it does not move. |
Where a £52 legging goes
| Where your money goes | The honest answer |
|---|---|
| The garment, made properly | £23.94 including VAT — printed, cut and sewn for you in Latvia. Premium weight costs roughly double what fast fashion pays; that is the see-through difference. |
| Getting it to you | £3.59 postage from Europe, tracked. You pay £3.95 at checkout, or nothing over £75. |
| Card fees | Around £1.37 on a £56 order. Small, real, and never added on top. |
| What we keep | About £27 — a small brand's margin. It pays for customer service, returns, and the next colourway. Not a marketing department. |
The £80+ heritage names charge more mostly for the label. We'd rather show the working.
